Race #3: Irvine Regional & Santiago Oaks
Irvine Regional & Santiago Oaks Parks were the sites of the first ever XC Mountain Bike race in an Orange County Park in 2011! Racers of all levels will get the chance to race on a World Cup style course with great single track, berms, long sustained climbs and a fun technical descent!
After the race we will have bikes from the best manufacturers available for test rides. Riders will be able to check out their dream ride and see how they perform on this incredible course! Other companies will also be exhibiting their products. There will be a raffle for great prizes from our sponsors with proceeds going to support the trails & racing in Santiago Oaks Regional Park! Awards will be given for top 3 in each category (there must be a minimum of 3 racers per category).

Length and Elevation: 10 miles with 1204 feet of climbing per lap
Beginners: 1 lap
Sport, Single Speed, Clydesdale: 2 laps
Export & Pro: 3 laps
(All riders have 3 hours to complete their laps)
The race starts in Irvine Regional Park and climbs up “Puma Ridge” then you cross into Santiago Oaks Regional Park via “Santiago Creek Trail”. Take a right as soon as you exit Irvine Regional Park and then a quick left on to “Egret Trail”/ “Willows Trail” towards the dam (the trail becomes “Santiago Creek Trail”). Proceed to “Pony Trail” and then take a right back onto ”Santiago Creek Trail” to “Goat” (second climb) then down “Bumble Bee”, to “Coach Whip” (the longest climb – about a mile), across “Barham Ridge” and then the downhill “Chutes Ridgeline” – a steep and loose technical descent, with rock drops, great berms and banks, jumps and more! Finally, follow “Lower Road Runner” back to “Santiago Creek Trail” to “Horseshoe Loop” and descends to the Start/Finish.

They will not have your packet outside this time period, so please do not bug them to get yours any other time. There will be a very short packet pick up period the morning of the event. Please try to pick up your packet at Two Wheels one Planet if you are from the OC.
